Teds Rent-it-Center's existence can be traced back to 1969, when it was simply called “Rent It”, and was located on N. Locust St. in Hagerstown MD. In 1979, right out of high school, Ted Shank became the owner and changed the name to what it is known as today, Ted's Rent It Center.

After outgrowing the facility on Locust St. in 1997, the store was moved to 17827 Virginia Avenue in Hagerstown, MD, which is the current location. Serving the TriState area for over 40 years, Ted’s Rent-It Center has taken pride in operating a clean store, and supplying our customers with well kept and updated equipment. Our knowledgeable staff, with many years of experience, is eager to help as soon as you walk in the door.
